Our goal is to provide 'Real World' Performance Upgrades for your 2.5RS/TS, which will allow you to increase performance up to and over a WRX, using your normally aspirated engine as a base.

Some upgrades require you use premium pump gas (93 Octane) and a Piggyback ECU or some form of Engine Management.

Also, the power upgrades in this section can be used on your Impreza, Legacy, Legacy Outback, Forester and Baja non-turbo engines. Some power kits are model specific and require fabrication for proper fitment. Each Turbo or Supercharger kit requires you run premium fuel and upgrade your fuel injectors for safe fuel delivery.

Our Mild Performance Cams are 'Hardwelded' cams (race quality), designed specifically for street performance cars, which are naturally aspirated. We have designed the cams for 'real world' application, using the factory ECU and OEM intake and exhaust. The camshafts are designed to provide a great idle and increase the overall performance of the engine.

Power over the entire r.p.m. range is greatly improved. You can see gains in HP up to 19HP at redline (6500RPM). when used with supporting upgrades and modifications.

Our 'Hottest' Performance-Race Cams are designed for naturally aspirated and turbo charged applications. The cams are new 'Hardwelded' cams (race quality). They provide intense mid and high range torque, with a good idle and awesome performance. Engine Management, FPR and increased injector size maybe required.

Power will begin at about 3500rpms and continue to redline (6500 RPM).
You can see gains in HP up to 25HP, when used with supporting upgrades and modifications.

2.5NA turbo kit

This kit is designed to work with a stock exhaust system, or will work with any aftermarket headers and cat-back exhaust that matches up to a stock system. Extensive dyno and road tuning was done to ensure driveabilty in all conditions and extremes, from winter cold to desert heat. On the dyno the kit produced 212HP at the wheels at the recommended max of 6 PSI of boost. This puts it in the 265CHP range at the engine. Almost 100 horsepower over stock, or basically double the stock power!

These kits transform your 2.5i into an absolute beast with double the horsepower from stock! AVO was the first to develop a turbocharger kit for the 1999-2004 Impreza 2.5RS in 2001.

A FMIC allows for more flow and better cooling. The turbocharger is specifically engineered for this FMIC application, that spools up quickly and fantastic mid-range torque! This is due to our own cast exhaust housing design which was created specifically for this application. Along with the stainless steel upipe and downpipe, the kit contains all the necessary hoses, oil lines, water lines, and other fittings necessary to bolt this kit up. The turbocharger is both oil and water-cooled, just like in stock turbocharged vehicles - and just as reliable.

What kind of power can you expect? Take a look at the graph below! Over 200whp on a dyno where stock N/A cars barely break 100whp. And it's easy power too, generated at just 4.5-5psi. This is thanks to our specially designed boost actuators that will run at these lower boost levels, keeping your system from overboosting. Our experience with these kits has shown us all the issues that need to be addressed for running a turbo reliably, and we have taken care of them all.
